Most of the hand painted pottery is inspired from Chinese pottery.
Raquel uses blue underglaze to paint floral patterns.
The floral patterns are either freeform or specific flowers.
The specific flowers have specific meanings (i.e. violets mean modest worth)
The Language of Flowers
I'm excited to share with you what makes my florals different!

Ever since I learned how flowers have specific definitions and meanings, I became intrigued with the idea of combining specific flowers to express my feelings. But more so to express how I feel about those around me.

How to say, "I'm so sorry for your loss" without being over dramatic but showing real sympathy. How to say "I love you" in a more personal way. How to let someone know how much they really mean to me.

These flowers give me more ways to say and show how I feel!

The main character communicates using flowers. I was intrigued with the idea of flowers having specific meanings.
The author included a compilation of the victorian floral dictionary. Her research has been my main source for my specific arrangements.
